The narrator, whose talents I’ve previously appreciated, did a horrendous job with Gabriel’s Promise. So much of the time it sounds like he’s whispering and his lovely deep voice just makes ALL the female characters voices cringeworthy. Even his voicing of Gabriel fell extremely short. Such a shame that he ruined this often humorous account of The Professor as a new father.
