It’s both absolutely bonkers and also nothing really happens. I had no idea what was going to happen next because it’s such a character driven story that when plot popped up I was genuinely surprised.
But also, even though reading about Oli is fun- her personality is a lot of things she likes that also make her feel “relatable” (she loves fish tacos! Shopping! Chocolate!) which I think may actually be a trope? (I’m looking at you first TOG book and from what I hear 50 shades)
Anyways it’s so absolutely bananas at times that I laughed out loud which makes it like a fun/delightful bananas read.
Fave character is now Gryphon.
