The story telling in this book was immaculate. The details really kept coming but it wasn't too much. I felt like I was in the room and feeling what the characters were feeling.
The characters-- did they piss me off sometimes? Yes. But were they written well? Also yes.
I liked that the vampire wasn't just your normal vampire. It was a unique take.
My one complaint is that it took too long to get the vampire slaying in. The book didn't drag, but the title made me hope for more than what we got.
