I wanted to love this book. I really really did because I like Arden and Caspian very much, but this didn’t work for me. There were way too many plot points and unnecessary drama to the extreme. I needed more love and connection but, unfortunately, didn’t get much of it. I think this book could have been a huge win because the characters are so likable. I believe the author let the characters down by giving them a very bad script.
