Heat is actually my least favorite in the series so far because while Ioved the romance and adventure that it includes, it doesn't really feel like the plot really progressed as much as the others. And if you've read Heat my take might be a little astounding but other than the obvious, the plot didn't really seem to go anywhere for me. Everyone still hates Diem, she still needs to be corronated, the Guardians are still chaotic. On the plus side, there was lots of interactions, charactes, and places to explore which was I do always enjoy.

Here's a tip if you're wanting to read this series, wait until book 4 has a publish date! The cliffhanger here is no joke, and if that absolutely does not bother you, go ahead and also PLEASE TEACH ME YOUR WAYS!

Note, I've discovered I am a sucker for the gryverns and their romance.
