Abby Jimenez really knows how to write a romance. You get to read about characters heal from their trauma and find they happily ever afters. Their healing journey is real and beautiful. Briana and Jacob were a wonderful couple. It was nice to read about big loving families. Reading Jacob describe his anxiety made me feel so seen in a book. I've never my anxiety so well described in a book. I also very much sympathize with Briana's mistrust and fears.
Only itty bitty issue I had was that it was a bit repetitive and thus made the book a little long.
