Faking It by Christine d'Abo

3.0

I didn’t like this one as much as the first one, but it was still decent. I’m not a fan of insta-love, especially when the rest of the story is little over a week (including break-up time). Max was a good character and easy to connect with. Grady was a lot more difficult. We’re shown his family life is crazy and contributes to Grady’s attitude and anger ~ but the more he interacted with them the less compassion I had for his issues. He also has a LOT of issues and the author just “poof they’re fixed” with a few sentences and it left me feeling like Max deserves better or we should have had more story to show Grady’s growth.

The blurbs for the next two books don’t appeal to me, so I’m done.
