Death: The High Cost of Living by Neil Gaiman

4.0

I feel like the trades for these stories were out of print for a while, so I never got around to them. Going through it the first time, you could see why Death couldn't have a series on her own as long as Dream did, but stories like this perfectly utilize her. If this version of Death is meant to be a friendly face to see at the end to help you through the next step, then this explores how she could be your friend. While I don't think Sexton wholly comes around, I think he takes something with him after this. Although he never got any less annoying.
