The Formula: How Rogues, Geniuses, and Speed Freaks Reengineered F1 Into the World's Fastest-Growing Sport
by Jonathan Clegg, Joshua Robinson
I've been watching F1 since 2021, and this book felt like it was written specifically for me. It's a incredible blend of history, technical data, and "how did we get here?" analysis that reads like a novel. It feels valuable to long time fans as well as F1 newcomers.
Also, bonus points for the absolute funniest line ever written: "That miracle [for Red Bull] came in the shape of a young driver who would execute one of the most consequential maneuvers in F1 history. His name wasn't Lewis, or Max. It was Nicholas Latifi, and he wasn't very good at racing formula one cars."
