The Scarecrow by Michael Connelly
5.0

I enjoy all of Michael Connelly's books. This one does not feature Bosch, but rather an LA Times reporter who gets canned. In the process of unraveling a final story, we're plunged into the worlds of a fading print media dominated by bottom-line and complex computer security issues. I found the plot well-developed, the pace fast and the story compelling.
