Principles for Success by Ray Dalio

4.0

what attracted me to pick this up was actually it being an illustrated + concise book; a non-fiction book turned into a picture book!!!!

its so interesting how this could be easily be read in a day but there were plenty of good learning points. im very amazed at how the contents have been condensed from a 600 pages down to 157 pages yet still so helpful. :") honestly i have yet to read the book but reading this picture book version was the right amount of content for me + probably something that was much needed; felt like i was reading it at a right time to look at my goals and intentions as we are approaching the new year. its really important to know how to set goals & learn from mistakes.

i really love the prompt questions on reflecting on our own principles & a collection of the author's principles towards the end of the book. it gives a really nice conclusion to wrap up the book and i really appreciate it as it makes it easier to understand the topic as a whole too.

recommend if youre looking for a bite-sized read on life advice and generally if you enjoy reading picture books.
