Not sure how many times I've read this now, but last week I got to go through it very slowly with a friend of mine who's an artist, and we just spent ages looking at all the tiny details and flipping back to check parallels and discussing the use of different art concepts and pointing out bits of symbolism and meaning and it was just a really lovely experience.
