My first full read since having my daughter so it took me a while longer than usual. I wanted to get this book last year as we went to Maine as part of our honeymoon, but I didn't want to pay full price and it wasn't available at the library. I have since managed to get it for 99p on Kindle (has since gone back up in price) and am glad I did. Enjoyable family saga told from the point of view of 4 female characters - a matriarch, a daughter-in-law, a daughter gone back/come good again, and a granddaughter. Can imagine this would be a good beach read / in the bath read :)
