Holy crap what a way to deal with being raised by a single parent!! I adored this novel in verse. It’s beautiful, heartbreaking, and hopeful all in one. It needs to be cannon. Teenage angst, mixed with middle eastern culture, mixed with time travel. It does not disappoint. I can’t even compare it to another novel because it’s so unique!
