We finally get a character’s story that I’ve been waiting for since the first book! The way Sophie ties all of the character storylines from the rest of the series into this book is phenomenal, you really get a sense of the world that she’s built throughout. Ares had always intrigued me from the very beginning, and the little Easter eggs throughout the previous books all came together towards the end of this instalment.
