This is one of the best books I've read in my life, it has filled me with so much hope I don't even know to explain how much I love this book. It's all about friendship, love, self discovery and finding hope in the darkest of places and I just needed this book at this point in my life, I can't wait to re read it.
The characters were so real and I could picture them so vividly, Jillian being my favourite as she's really inspired me to change my perspective on things and to keep going. The Hard Truth About Sunshine is a truely heartbreaking book but is so important too. It deals with heavy topics like PTSD, suicide, cancer and abuse. I never wanted the story to end, feeling like I was in these characters lives with them, experiencing what they were.
