The Ants set out to destroy humanity and purify the Earth. They see belief in religion as a disease and try to wipe it out. They raise the animals of the earth to human intelligence to help them and the novel follows a house cat in his journey to find his missing friend, whilst becoming a hero of the human resistance. Fine, but the whole thing was too silly.
