Blood and Ice by Robert Masello

2.0

Set in the arctic a bunch of researchers/ journalists find a pair of lovers chained together and entombed in ice under the sea. Once thawed they are found to be the source of a deadly contagion.
I wanted to like this as the premise was intriging but it was just too wordy and suffered from a lack of pace and towards the middle I began skim reading. Good characterisation though.
