I won this book in a Goodreads First Reads contest.
It was an ARC so had some weird spacing and errors to the text but that is expected. I am sure those will be corrected in final copy.
I enjoyed the story. I knew this was coming out as a BBC/PBS series since they have been showing the previews for it a couple months now. It looked good and I will watch it. Winning the ARC of the book was exciting for me.
I love costume/historical dramas and this one fit the bill. It covers the time between Victoria gaining her crown until she marriesaid Albert. It is a very engaging read and makes me want to read a history book about Queen Victoria to know more about her. Definitely a fun, engaging, book.
