Lovely and slow and kind hearted and warm. An antidote to the daily small horrors of our modern lives. A simply beautiful slice of life story of a woman having a miraculously inspiring experience with a wild animal. I just don't know how else to say that I adored this book. I cried, I laughed, and I lamented along with the author at the horrible ways that humans, in our narrow view of the world, have irrevocably altered and changed the planet at the expense of other living creatures and plants.
