The New Avengers, Volume 2: Sentry by Brian Michael Bendis

4.0

I enjoyed this volume much more than its predecessor and thought it was pretty cleverly done. I see that this installment has gotten a lot of flack for inserting comic writer Paul Jenkins into the story. And, well, let's face it, inserting Famous Writer as Author of The Characters in the Story doesn't usually end well. See Stephen King's "Dark Tower" disaster for proof of that. But here, the story works extremely well, as does the greater mystery involving why everyone has forgotten who The Sentry is.
