Did not finish book. Stopped at 34%.
I wanted so hard to like this but I didn't. I might try again in the future but not anytime soon.
The author relies on making you laugh 90% of the time by listing a bunch of absurdist things in a row. Maybe if you have a dad humor or if you never read funny books before, it would work. But for me, it fell like it was trying too hard to be funny. I much prefer Terry Pratchett’s subtleness.
