That was one of the best TNG books I've read so far. Troi has always been my favorite character on TNG, and it was nice to see her as a primary character. That doesn't happen often. The story is split between Worf & Troi working a dimplomatic mission and Geordi & Dr. Crusher working on a living engine. I found both stories to be interesting and unique. It seems like most TNG books are about Picard, Data and Riker. It was a nice change of pace having them just be supporting characters. This was well worth the reed. Check it out.
