Gudetama: Mindfulness for the Lazy by Wook-Jin Clark
5.0
(I received a free digital copy of this book through Netgalley!)
While nothing groundbreaking or very new in its ideas, Gudetama: mindfulness for the lazy does what many self-help books about the same topics can't do: explain things in a short, clear, and fun way.
It's such a short read, but still felt quite nice - mostly because of the incredible art! It's all very adorable and colorful; full-color comic style, with short "chapters" that are just different scenarios of Nisetama and Gudetama teaching others about how to be more present in the moment, how to be mindful, how to deal with stressful situations and things like that.
I wouldn't buy this book for myself, but I'd for sure gift it to some friends, especially those who like Gudetama!
