“ I don’t know, maybe it takes a long time to figure out what you’re truly searching for. Maybe you spend your whole life just to figure out a small part of it.”
This book is split into two parts In the first part, where the main lead Takako's life suddenly takes a turn for the worse, and then her uncle, Satoru, offers her to live in a used bookshop and co-manage it for a while. There, she discovers many new things out of her zone, through people who love used books, through the authors she gets to know, and through the books she starts to read..
I didn't like the second part, where the aunt, who left Takako's uncle 5 years ago, suddenly returns and makes the story a little less interesting. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the book because the translation was very easy to understand and didn't use any "big" words.
