The Sovereign Individual: Mastering the Transition to the Information Age by William Rees-Mogg, James Dale Davidson
4.0
Many of the predictions are scarily accurate and prescient. Book was written pre-2000 but remains mostly and uncannily true and relevant.
However, the authors' tendencies to deviate towards conspiracy theories and paranoid hyperbole, all with a strong tinge of Ayn Rand - especially in the tail end of the book - end up watering down some of their credibility. One begins to wonder if they are the typical gloom-and-doom Chicken Littles of the investment industry.
