I gobbled this the fuck up. It’s a very easy fantasy. World building is easy to follow, magic system is easy to grasp. I can definitely see how this got so popular with a wide range of people. While I say this is easy, it’s not a simple or predictable story.
I was nervous to read this because of the hype, but it’s definitely worth checking out.
YES IF: dragons??? Duh. Action. SEMI Slow burn romance but also so much more to the story and characters??? Growth and secrets
NO IF: you don’t want what I would consider a more modern or contemporary take on fantasy.
