I liked Hawthorne's elegant writing style, though I didn't enjoy his intro 😅 I loved Hester Prynne and the dilemma of guilt, shame, and repentance. I think Hawthorne explores these themes from the perspective of a woman very delicately and succinctly. I highly recommend this read!
