Considering all the triggering content, one should approach the book with caution. It mentions topics such as misogyny, the intersection of race and socioeconomics in missing person cases, and the grief experienced by those affected.
In terms of the plot, it was a ride between 20% and 60%, I couldn’t put the book down. The last 40% kind of lost momentum with me, especially with the twist reveal. Sitting on it, the last act was out of the left field and wrapped too conveniently. I kind of wish I went with the audiobook with the full cast of narrators, as there are 8 POVs in the story.
