The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell

4.0

The last 100 pages is when everything started coming together, so you have to work for it a little bit for sure, and it was difficult to pay close attention for most of the book, but once I got there, it was all uphill. I did guess one of the plot twists, but a couple of the others really caught me by surprise. It was a bit hard to push through and try to ignore the fact that I was confused as to how these 3 storylines come together or which character is which at first, but I think the payoff was worth it in the end.

Reread 8/31/22: Same feelings about it & I actually remembered more than I thought. I just reread it via audio to make sure I'm prepared to read The Family Remains tbh
