Applaud for the Poison Princess! As it brought me out of my reading slump and gave all the sparkles I needed.

I knew this series would devastate me and blow my mind away. I've been supposed to read this series long ago, but something has postponed the starting. Maybe it was my gut feeling of getting so horrible book hangover that I could not survive it.

This book was full of action, young adult drama and most importantly heartbreaking slow burn romance I love. If you have not read this series, I can highly recommend at least this first book from it. I was in the brink of tears a few times, it got so emotional for me to read.

The main characters are young but not stupid. They make mistakes, learn from them and in a way evolve to be a better persons. I am happy about the way Kresley Cole keeps it in reality by adding the YA drama and worries as part of the story. It would be horrible to read a books which has too smart kids surviving everything.
