A sweet indulgence that is absolutely charming. Good tension, relatable FMC, sweet alien MMC perplexed by American idioms, and a found family that comes together the week of Christmas. I laughed out loud so many times, smiled at the costumed caper through the drag club, and delighted at Tana’s writing style that brings the sounds of her world building to life. A great Xmas read under 200 pages.
