Under Rose-Tainted Skies
by Louise Gornall
A book has never impacted me as much as this one. I've set out to read more books with characters dealing with a mental illness and this book was recommended to me. I have in the past year been realizing my symptoms of OCD and after reading Turtles All the Way Down by John Green, I wanted more characters written with it. Basically, this book tore me apart. I have never felt more like a book was written of my thoughts. I sobbed through so much of this because it felt so good to know I wasn't alone. That is one reason why books pertaining to mental illness are so important. I also liked that in the end, she was one medicine, but it didn't portray it as a fix all. Norah still had compulsions. I recently started medicine and it just meant so much to me to see that also in this book. I will never get over this book.
