Okay characters were diverse bc they morphed into that in my brain, like they started off one thing and then as I kept reading the characters grew into someone else just bc it fit better for me I couldn’t imagine them white and blue eyed except for Jerren.
It was slow paced for like 10 chapters and then picks up. I gave it a 4.75 bc I knew a few of the plot twists except 2-3 and my jaw was on the FLOOR when I realized what tf had just happened. Look man no spoilers but just know it’s a good read, super easy but still makes you think and as a thought daughter I appreciate that. It made me feel like a little girl again like getting excited for books. I’ve been reading a lot of just not fantasy and this was a nice starting point.
