Day Zero by C. Robert Cargill

5.0

This journey follows an 8 year old boy Ezra and his animatronic nanny bot tiger Pounce as they venture through the new apocalyptic world of humans verses bots.

This story explores the true meaning of freedom, love, and free will. I really enjoyed Pounces POV and his path to self-discovery and undying devotion to Ezra. Their growth and relationship know no bounds.

I actually am extremely satisfied with how this ends, especially knowing the events that will inevitably occur in 'Sea of Rust'. I will live in this imaginary world where the Mama Bears all still exist ❤️
