I was a big fan of the Neopolitan quartet so I wanted to read the rest of Ferrante’s books. The writing is just as strong in this book which really helps bring you into the novel and make you reflect. I would say the primary theme is motherhood which made it difficult for me to fully appreciate not being a mother myself
