Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel García Márquez

dark mysterious reflective

Beautifully written as expected from Marquez. The story retells the same events from multiple perspectives, each time uncovering more of the motivation for them, which is well done and provides a fresh structure to the novel. Some great small character moments that made me wish there was more time spent with them, namely the bride and her two brothers. Ultimately the book was too short and too much was left ambiguous to resonate with me more.
