I wanted to like this. The concept is great and the vibe is right. I wanted a light hearted sci fi love story but almost every thing about the story is frustrating. I don’t think the romance between the main characters was very convincing, the time travel and loop stuff didn’t make sense even though the science was explored and discussed constantly. 

The fact that Mariana chose to give up 20 years of her life to isolation, knowing she might cease to exist and also never be with Carter, who she is apparently in love with? How she saved Shay and it didn’t cause a paradox?

I was kinda mad by the end
