I did not realize that this was a YA book when I first picked it up so it is not the sort of thing I would normally read, but I would still like to make my gripes known. First of all, for a "divine comedy" it sure wasn't very comedic at all. Second, the main character was so boring and cringey, not that there isn't any character development but still. Third, literally every character other than the main was way more interesting than him, another odd choice. Fourth, the romance was extremely unconvincing and unbearable. I have more to say but I think I've said enough.
