The Love Brothers Box Set by Bonnie Vane
2.0
LIAM
This is book one in the Love Brothers series and it features Liam and Cherisa . Liam‘s father passed away and it was a stipulation of his will that each of his four sons find true love before they receive their inheritance. These two meet serving community service for a shelter. They started off slow but quickly moved things along. Cherisa really surprised me with her bold moves. I didn’t think she had it in her. The writing is not smooth but the story line is good. Characters are good too.
OWEN
This is book two and it features Owen and Apryl. They met through cycling and grew closer through a series of unfortunate events. Apryl is a little more bold than I expected. I could see them getting closer but failed to see a “true love” connection. The character of Owen is hard to understand with his daredevil occupations and lack of zest for life.
VADEN
This is book 3 and it features Vaden and Bryana. Vaden actually wants to be a chef at his own restaurant but because of how much money it would cost, he’s stuck working as a manager for a resort. Bryana is working as a delivery person for a deli as she gets her MBA. She rescued him in his time of need but will anybody be there to rescue her when her stalker gets tired of just sending notes? Vaden has a definite lack of motivation for anything. Too much of the story is spent on their “not too exciting” meeting. The story line is good but there needs to be MORE to the actual plot.
EVAN
This is book 4 and it features Evan and Dusti. They both own shops on the beach front. Evan is struggling with life after losing his girlfriend, his mother and shortly after that, his father. His shop isn’t doing great but Dusti has great ideas. The events of this story are not tied together too well and that makes for a book that’s hard to get through.
I just feel the stories were rushed and didn’t offer much build up or background. The writing structure definitely needs improvement. There is no smooth flow in any of these stories.
NOTE: Though I did NOT base my review on it, there are a lot of grammatical errors that make it difficult and time consuming to read.
