The Politics Industry: How Political Innovation Can Break Partisan Gridlock and Save Our Democracy by Michael E. Porter, Katherine M. Gehl

5.0

Really enjoyed Michael and Katherine’s new book, “The Politics Industry.” The book applies Michael’s Five Forces to the US political system while exploring new ways to innovate from outside the system.

The book largely focuses on the need for Final 5 Voting, Ranked Choice Voting (RCV), and an innovation commission with the House that drives bipartisan support for change in legislative proceedings.

If you’re a MA voter this election cycle, you know that RCV is on the ballot (amen for direct democracy!).
