The Resurrection by Jodi Ellen Malpas

I loved this book, and it would have been nearly a 5-star read if not for Rose and Beau—mainly Rose. She behaved like a toddler throughout the entire book, acting childish and throwing temper tantrums. Also, it's not cool for women to be physically abusive any more than it is for men, yet throwing punches in her husband's face is her go-to response when she's angry. Not cool.

Apart from the selfishly bratty behavior of the two main female characters, the story was highly entertaining and continued the mystery of uncovering Who is The Bear? There was plenty of action and lots of steamy moments. I especially loved that the book equally focused on both couples instead of just one.

JEM's books tend to be lengthy, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Her character development is excellent. Getting the POV of all four main characters allows readers to really connect with them and understand the main cast on a deeper level.

I stayed up until 4 in the morning to finish this one, hoping to find out who The Bear is. But nope! Now I’m sleep-deprived and diving into book four.
