I always enjoy Karin's writing. I love how to combine a crime solving plot with relational dynamics to make the characters not just cops, but real people.
I've read a lot of her books, so idk if I just know where's she's going, but I'm proud to say I picked out the bad guy and the family secret way before they were revealed.
It did get a little slow in the middle which is why I knocked it down to 4.25
