A beautiful and poignant collection of poetry that explores the hidden depths of what it means to be a woman. Falling under a few categories or themes (i.e. IDENTITY AND SELF DISCOVERY and AMBITION, DREAMS AND PURPOSE) There is a poem to reflect so many stages of life, feelings and emotions and thought processes.
There is a few pages of insight at the end of each chapter which hit home to me the enormity of what some women go through, including myself, on a regular basis.
I loved the reflection question at the end of each poem which gave me something to think about, whether that particular poem rang true for me or not.
My personal favourite being number 5. The Mold We Fit. It spoke volumes to me and I am more than ever going to strive to raise my daughter to be a mold breaker.
Thank you to S. Arista Bluebell for such a thought provoking book of poetry. It truly is beautiful, sad and thought provoking all at once!
