Woman on Fire by Lisa Barr

Interesting and keeps me entertained. Not quite exciting. I'm not a fan of going back into the past without more of a break or italics or something that indicates that's they're in a different time. Then it just go right back to the present, can get confusing. Kind of a slow read.
It was interesting at the beginning and I was pretty into it, however, about halfway through I was begging for it to just end. So much yet so little was happening. Gaps were everywhere. Time skipped without acknowledgment. Just not a great read. And after all was said about the painting, in the end, shoes meant more. The plot was decent.
