A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

4.0

This was different! Good stuff. I did feel it was a bit rushed towards the end but the self-destruction and smut made up for it.

It was nice to take a break from Feyre. Don't get me wrong. I like the character but she's too perfect. Nesta is a bitch. And it's awesome. Is she too much of one? Maybbeeee. But I like that Maas is expanding the world she created rather than ramming the same protagonists to the ground.

Also, a baby with little wings is funny. I just picture a baby's limp body flying around everywhere and it makes me giggle.

Also, what does "the stars winking out in his eyes" mean?! Even within context, it makes no sense! There are so many stars in their eyes. Good stuff. Maas has all my money.
