This book is the best in the series so far, with a few caveats.

First, there were a few chapters that could have been cut. I feel like the middle of this book is really dragged out.

Second, I feel like the trio fight way too often throughout the course of the book. The friend discourse on top of the other sub-plots felt really heavy handed and drawn out.

As for some things I enjoyed:
the addition of new magic schools was a fun touch, I loved hearing about how each differed from Hogwarts. I also really enjoyed the first part of the book and felt that the bit about the Quidditch World Cup had great visuals.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book more than the previous one and am excited to continue the series.
