There are parts of this book that are unbelievably compelling, even for people not generally fond of true crime (like myself). Perry is a compelling character and Capote balances the narrative well such that eveey element of this book manages to compliment each other. Its really well explored and written in general. However, I did find that some of the sections following the arrest dragged on a bit
