I thrifted this because i recognized the author and was like yeah sure i’ll read it. I got 2 pages into it and thought “oh…is this erotica?” and then i flipped back to the preface and “it’s excessive and it is erotica” plainly confirmed it for me. 

i read it because why not but won’t be finishing the series, anne rice writes sex so clinically
