I really enjoyed this. I'm not generally one for thousand(plus!)-year tales, because where is the immediacy? Where is the connection? But this felt so true and lived and strangely honest to me. I've never identified with an immortal so well, and it's absolutely because of the way Miller is able to grow Circe throughout the narrative. I think this will be one of my favorite books of the year.
